Project management

Project management is an essential part of the organization in modern companies. Shorter product life cycles, increasingly fierce competition and growing cost pressure are the challenges that companies have to face today. In many cases, project management was introduced and established in companies in the eighties and nineties of the last century. Instruments have been developed, staff trained and standards created.

Since then, the economic environment has changed radically. And it will continue to change. Established processes in companies – including those for project management – are often not fast enough to keep up. The consequence of this is that the instruments used are outdated and no longer up to date. The complexity of powerful project management software in particular has become a major challenge for the project management office that many companies have to face.
